Our betting guide to the 3pm kick offs in the Premier League on Saturday – recent form, betting angles, views from the experts and our official bets.
Arsenal v Burnley
Arsenal are unbeaten in their last 22 home Premier League matches, winning 14 and drawing eight. However they have drawn their last three home games and have failed to keep a clean sheet at the Emirates this season. Burnley are still looking for their first league win and have conceded 12 goals in their last games. Can Arsenal be trusted at a short price of 3/10.
Chelsea v QPR
Chelsea have won their four home leagues this season by a combined score line of 11-2 and look a formidable side under Jose Mourinho. QPR are second from bottom but won on Monday night against Aston Villa but this is a major step up in class for Harry’s men. Chelsea are 2/11 to win the game and 4/5 to win to nil. QPR are 20/1 to get a shock win at Stamford Bridge, something which they managed in January 2013.
Everton v Swansea
Everton will be seeking a third straight win and are finding their form after a slow start to the season. They have scored three goals in each of their last two games with Lukaku and Eto’o both scoring two apiece. Swansea won last weekend against Leicester to end a run of five games without a win. They have taken just one point from their previous three away games. Everton to win at 3/4 (bet365)
Hull v Southampton
Hull are unbeaten in their last three games and have lost just one of their last six games. Last weekend’s 0-0 against Liverpool was the first time they failed to score this season. Southampton have made their best ever start to a top-flight campaign and are second in the table with a quarter of the season gone. Can the Saints continue their excellent form or are they worth opposing away from home at odds of 11/10.
Leicester v West Brom
Leicester done well in their opening five games of the season but they have now just picked up one point from their last four games. West Brom has lost just one of their last five games and are showing plenty of fighting spirit with them coming from two goals behind against Crystal Palace last weekend. Leicester are 11/8 to win the game but look to have lost their early season momentum. West Brom are 11/ 5 to win the game and 13/10 in the draw no bet market.
Stoke v West Ham
Stoke have struggled for consistency so far this season with 3 wins, two draws and four losses. They have only scored three goals in their four home games at the Britannia. West Ham have surprised many this season with their more attack minded style of play. Sam Allardyce’s side have won of their last five games and have scored in eight successive Premier League games. West Ham are 11/5 to win the game and are 23/20 in the draw no bet market which both look decent considering their recent form. West Ham Draw No Bet v Stoke at 23/20 (BetVictor)
