Premier League Tips – Week 2

Our football tipsters as the best bets for Saturday’s Premier League matches.

Burnley v Liverpool

Liverpool suffered defeat in just two of their final six away games in the Premier League last term and should be streets ahead of Burnley. Phillipe Coutinho’s outstanding performance last week makes him a good option for first goalscorer this week and is currently at the attractive price of 13/2 with bet365 – again make this eachway for a payout at 1/3 odds for unlimited places in 90 mins. Burnley had an unfortunate start to the new season last week as they were defeated 1-0 by Swansea in an 82nd minute goal from Leroy Fer. Only four top-flight teams scored more goals than Liverpool on the road last term. Back Coutinho to score first goal @ 13/2 with bet365

Tottenham v Crystal Palace

Tottenham, who entertain Crystal Palace at White Hart Lane, are strongly fancied for a home win this weekend. A tough opening assignment saw Spurs pick up a point at Everton, and they’ll be looking to build on that with their first win of the season on Saturday. Palace were one of the lowest-scoring teams in the league last year and were one of only two teams not to score on the opening weekend of this campaign. Palace have kept one clean sheet in their last six top-flight meetings with Spurs. With this in mind there’s plenty of potential for Tottenham to keep a clean sheet this weekend and priced at 10/11 with bet365 could be a good shout – for the win the odds are heavily in spurs favour at 4/9. Back Tottenham to win to nil @ 7/5 with bet365

Watford v Chelsea

Chelsea won just seven of their 19 away games last term but the Blues have already shown under Antonio Conte that they will be willing to go on the attack this season and were impressive against West Ham on Monday.Watford fell away badly in the second half of 2015-16 – have kept one clean sheet in ten games – and the visitors may have too much for them to handle. Back Chelsea to win @ 3/4 with Paddy Power

Leicester v Arsenal

Saturday’s late kick-off sees an early clash between last season’s top 2, with Arsenal travelling to Leicester. Both sides suffered disappointing starts to this season, with Leicester beaten at newcomers Hull and Arsenal turned over at home by Liverpool. The Gunners won 5-2 on this ground last season with Alexis Sánchez bagging a hat trick making him a great option for first goalscorer at 11/2 or anytime for 8/5. However, Arsenal have a bit of a defensive injury crisis, with the inexperienced pair of Callum Chambers and Rob Holding starting at centre back last week. They also have a poor recent away record with them drawing six of their last nine league aways. Back Leicester to win @ 9/5 with bet365
