Set up in January 2011, Golf Punters’ Guide is a free tipping service that focuses primarily on the PGA Tour. The service is run by Sam who having been a “golfing enthusiast for most of my life, have developed an in-depth knowledge of the players, tournaments and stats on the PGA tour.” Sam published on a Monday All Profit/Loss figures are recorded on the site with him showing a 39% ROI in 2013 and running a similar healthy profit for 2014. Usually is the first out with his PGA preview on Monday afternoon.
Frazzled is the golf expert over on betswot and provides excellent analysis on a weekly basis. His previews are laced with relevant statistics and some stretch to over 2,000 words. Course characteristics, key requirements and selections are all presented in detail, leaving followers in no doubt that they are making solid bets. Recent winners include Sang Moon Bae 150/1 in the Frys.com Open (Oct 2014). Usually posts his tips on Wednesday mornings.

Run by Steve Bamford & Paul Williams, the website is crammed full of predictor models, trends and statistics for the various events on both the European & PGA tours. Weekly previews are of a high quality, easy to digest and are also available in audio cast. Usually post tips on Tuesday evenings.
# Mike Miller
Mike compiles a vast amount of data and is a leading resource for many odds compilers and pro bettors. “My database contains all current professional players, plus the top amateurs, from both the Mens & Womens games. It also contains historical tournament results dating back as far as 2002 across thirty-one pro tours. For every tournament I publish not only bookmaker and exchange prices, and occasionally my own, but also player: ages, world ranking points, nationalities, up to 12 years’ course form and up to 26 weeks’ recent form in user-friendly tournament sheets” Gives out tips on twitter, usually on Wednesday.

The BettingZone duo of Ben Coley (PGA) and David John (European) offer indepth previews every week on both Tours. Their previews are usually published on a Monday evening and will often move the market on their bigger priced selections due to the popularity of the BettingZone website. Recent winners include Bill Horschel at 70/1 in the BMW Championship (Sept 2014).

# Rob Bolton

Rob does the Power Rankings on the official PGA Tour website where he picks out 10 players, ranking them 1 through to 10 with brief comments attached to each player. Combines factors such as recent form, relevant stats and course set up make his picks. He publishes his picks every Monday evening and past rankings can be found by a google search of ‘rob bolton power rankings (event name)’. He doesn’t give out official bets so we will be tracking his top two picks every week.
