Ray Flanagan with an outsider for the US Masters
I had earmarked Marc Leishman as a coming player a few seasons ago and not long after that he produced some promising performances including placed efforts at the 2013 Masters and the 2015 British Open. Following a lean spell after that British Open effort, the Australian has bounced back to form this season driving and putting much better. He confirmed his current well being with a victory at the Arnold Palmer tournament last month and is reported to have spent the last week honing his short game for the challenge this week.
Aside from Johnson, there are a few doubts on many of the leading contenders and it could be an opportunity for an outsider like Leishman to make the breakthrough.
