Ray Flanagan with selections from Leopardstown and Salisbury
I might be barking up the wrong tree here, but have a sneaking regard for Isamol in this 14 furlong handicap. I thought Amanda Perrett’s charge shaped with encouragement on his penultimate outing at Newbury behind King Bolete shaping like a horse who could improve. In light of a poor enough effort following an absence at Goodwood, his price is short enough today, but I will have some investment in the expectation of an improved display.
Leopardstown 7.25- Raydara,
Raydara is a sporting shout against hot favourite Cougar Mountain. Michael Halford’s filly may appreciate dropping back in trip and also may be ready for a step forward on her third outing of the season. The daughter of Rock of Gibralter was highly regarded at the end of her juvenile campaign following a Group Two success against Lucida and she might start fulfilling her potential yet.
Leopardstown 7.55- Pullman Brown,
I see no reason to desert Pullman Brown who won his race in a taking manner over the course and distance a few weeks ago striding purposefully clear to the line in the final furlong. He is up seven pounds and in a tougher contest, but might have one more strike in him.
