Who is this Keyser Soze at Ascot

Thought for the day: I enjoy those movies with characters like Keyser Soze ( The Usual Suspects)

Ascot 2.15- Speedo Boy and Manjaam

Speedo Boy started out with promise as a three-year old shaping nicely behind useful sorts Permian and Benbatl in listed company. Struggled somewhat once entering handicaps but caught the eye all the same at York behind Fidaawy. Suspicion he is better than appeared in those races and interesting today.

Manjaam was a useful type in Ireland a few seasons ago and ran well against Del Harraild previously at Ascot. Poor 2017 campaign but shaped well on recent Wolverhampton re-appearance and has the ability to figure.

Haydock 3.10- William H Bonney

Has often flattered to deceive in races coming cruising on the bridle but failing to see it out. Will be better served by sharp two miles on quick ground- conditions which he has not had the chance to race on for a while. Also a possibility that recent wind operation will help him to keep galloping in the latter stages.

Ascot 4.00-Keyser Soze

Looked a horse of some potential when winning at Kempton just short of 12 months ago. Sparkling reappearance effort at Newbury and looks primed for big run with drop back to 7 furlongs in his favour.

Curragh 5.05-Bigger and Better

Shaped with promise on a couple of occasions last season and not a bad return at Leopardstown recently. Might need ground to dry out more but worth small nibble at decent odds.
