Steve Hughes has one selection for Sunday
It does not look the most exciting of days for betting today so I have just the one selection – from the feature race on Windsor’s card. Our headline selection Mazzini was a winner on Saturday (advised 2/1).
Windsor 4.00: Bullingdon
An interesting contest, despite the small field, can go to what is potentially the most progressive horse in the field in Bullingdon.
This will be just the 3yo’s sixth career start and he is yet to finish outside the first three. He got off the mark at the second attempt on fast ground at Salisbury last summer, that after running well on debut on soft ground at Newbury, so he should not mind if the rain falls or not at the track.
A good second over course and distance on his seasonal reappearance, he went on to win on handicap debut at Chelmsford next time. Whilst he was on the face of it slightly disappointing at Doncaster last time, the form of that race has worked out well and I think he will prefer this sharper track.
1.5pts win – Bullingdon – 4.00 Windsor – 5/2 general
